Renfaire garb complete! And I say complete, but I’m not quite sure yet if I’m going to add some bits of lace to the veil and/or the bodice yet, but if anything I’ll bring them with me and stitch them on tonight. And I’m not yet sold on the veil, considering that it’ll probably look better with a wig, so I might pull out one of my blonde wigs and see if that makes it work. I didn’t want to have to wear one to the faire, considering it’s usually pretty warm (even if it’s September and it won’t be as warm as it is in August, which is usually when I manage to go) but here’s hoping it works out. (I actually wish I had a rhapsody-style wig because that would look gorgeous with some good old-fashioned braids and whatnot.)
Because, you know, red and pink hair doesn’t quite go with the whole Faire aesthetic when you’re going for more middle-class-actual-person and less “lookit me I’m a fairy”.
Because let’s face it, faire fairies are the weebs of the renfaire world.
And now the dining room table can be used again. :P
