Restoring Secret Shop Shoes

phaeburri:

Now, general rule of thumb is when buying shoes don’t buy them second hand, especially online.

However I was on the oz-lolita lj, and saw someone selling some SS shoes (I think they were AP replicas) for $15 and thought I’d take a chance and see if I could fix them up. Here is the end result.

Home Depot Employee (HDE):So, what're you getting clear adhesive sealant for, bathroom DIY project?
Me:Nope, uh, I need to make pigtails that stick out at a gravity-defying angle.

Selling this skirt here

WAIT NO, WHERE DID THOSE SHOES COME FROM.

I think those specifically are DreamV, which is a Japanese gyaru brand (thanks anon!). Jesus Diamante popularized them, and there’s plenty of variations on the style of shoe, with the heel staying the same and/or really similar:

^Those are Yumetenbo

And I’m pretty sure all of those are DreamV variations.
